Spotify is celebrating its 20th birthday today (April 23) and to make it special, they have released the lists of most streamed albums, songs, artists and more.
“For the first time, we’re unveiling the most streamed artists, albums, songs, podcasts, and audiobooks in our history. Drawn from years of listening across hundreds of millions of fans, these lists capture the music and stories that didn’t just break through but stayed, becoming part of everyday life around the world,” said the streaming giant in a statement.
This is a definitive look at what fans listened to on Spotify since it launched 20 years ago and captures data until April 2026.
Taylor Swift has been crowned as the most streamed artist of all time on the platform, followed by Bad Bunny and Drake. Not many surprises there. Bad Bunny’s monster set Un Verano Sin Ti is the most streamed album on Spotify while The Weeknd’s 2020 smash ‘Blinding Lights’ takes the top spot on most streamed songs.
