With a record smashing 13.2 million streams in a single day on Spotify for Drake’s ‘Make Them Cry,’ Drake has officially created a new Spotify record for the biggest streaming day for a hip hop song.
With Michael Jackson’s glove on the cover, and the project doing well, Drake is doubling down on claims of being the most widely consumed hip hop artist. His new numbers back it up, but there’s still a long way to go. Let’s see where the momentum takes this culture defining moment.
