Bad news for Nelly and his fans.
Fox reports that the rapper and Reality TV star has been charged with felony drug possession after his bus was stopped for not having the correct stickers in Nashville, Tennessee. The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security said that a Highway Patrol trooper pulled over the bus at around 9:20 a.m. in Putnam County Saturday because a U.S. Department of Transportation International Fuel Tax Association sticker wasn’t displayed.
But the trooper smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. Upon search, the officials found five crystalline rocks that tested positive for methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana and even three handguns.
Nelly, real name Cornell Haynes along with other occupant of the bus, Brain Jones were taken to the Putnam County Jail where the duo have already posted bail of $10,000.
