August Alsina Speaks On His Eye Disease; Says Sophomore Album Is Done

August Alsina shocked fans last month when he revealed that he underwent a surgery after going “blind” in the left eye.

But for the first time ever, August has spoken about the problem in public in a video interview. Talking to hosts backstage at the Stone Soul 2015 music fest in Richmond, Virginia earlier this month, August revealed that he has a rare disease called “Keratoconus” for which he had to undergo immediate treatment and is doing much better now.

The singer also revealed that he is almost done with his sophomore album and is shooting for end of August or top of September for its release. Listen to the first single ‘Hip-Hop’ here.
