Fetty Wap’s hot run is not slowing anytime soon. After peaking at #2 on Billboard Hot 100 with ‘Trap Queen’, he is continuing his streak with his follow up single ‘My Way‘.
The street hit was making its way on the charts due to radio spins alone but an enormous demand for the song to be be made available on digital retailers started to frustrate some fans. Fetty and his label 300 Entertainment finally released the song to iTunes and other services on July 17 which has helped it rise from 87-7. With ‘Trap Queen’ at #6, Fetty now has two songs in the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first lead rapper in 4 years to do achieve the feat.
The last time it happened was the September 3, 2011-dated chart when Lil Wayne held the #2 spot with ‘She Will’ featuring Drake and #8 with ‘How To Love’. What’s more, Fetty’s ‘679’ song is at #18 this week, making it 3 songs in the top 20 for the Jersey rapper.
