If you don’t realize yet how much The Weeknd is buzzing right now, here’s another proof.
The singer’s latest single ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ is soaring on the charts right now, with potential to be one of the biggest songs of the year across all genres. But he has created history today as he becomes the first artist to own top 3 positions on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart which was launched three years ago.
1. Cant Feel My Face
2. The Hills
3. Earned It
His single ‘The Hills’ reached a new weekly streaming high of 11.8 million domestic streams during the week ending July 9, making it jump from #4 to #2 this week and thereby helping Abel set a new record. As Billboard notes, Robin Thicke is the only other artist to have held two out of the top three spots on the chart when ‘Blurred Lines’ featuring T.I. and Pharrell, and ‘Give It 2 You’ featuring Kendrick Lamar held the number 1 and 3 spots for three weeks in 2013.
