Very sad news is coming in this morning that rapper Sean Price has passed away. After rumors began to fly earlier, it has now been confirmed by his rep that he is no more. He was 43 years old and survived by his wife, and his three children.
The statement reads:
Sean Price, who turned 43 in March of this year, was a beloved rap artist. He was 1/2 of the group Heltah Skeltah, a key member of the Boot Camp Clik, and a successful solo artist, known simply as Sean Price.
Sean’s family and friends are asking for time to grieve and process the news. Further details will be issued when more information is available.
The cause of his death is currently not confirmed but it is reported that he died in his sleep. Price released his last album, Mic Tyson in 2012 and was prepping the release of his next one on Duck Down Music.
