Kevin Gates has definitively surprised a few people in the industry (including me) by selling a whopping 112k units with his debut album Islah, debuting at #2 on the Billboard 200 charts. The album is named after his daughter.
Today, the Louisiana rapper shares a video for the album cut ‘Pride’ which showcases the tough life of balancing jail life with luxury time with his family. The heart warming clip also has appearances by Kevin’s real life wife Dreka and daughter Islah. watch it below.
