Toronto’s rising star Tory Lanez hasn’t had a very cordial relationship with Drake so far. For the past few years, the two have gone back and forth both in raps as well as tweets and interviews.
A few months ago, Tory took to Twitter to express his displeasure about Drake referring to Toronto as “the 6” which he later took down. Around the same time, he also freestyled on Sway In The Morning show where he took a shot at Drizzy, referencing to the moment a few years ago when Drake was caught reading lyrics off his BlackBerry while he “freestyled”.
“I know these n*ggas about to act scary. T.O. nigga, only spitting without the Blackberry,” rapped Tory around the 18 minute mark in this clip.
Things got more interesting when Drake rapped “all you boys in the new Toronto wanna be me a little” on his latest single ‘Summer Sixteen‘.
But now it seems like Tory has decided to change his attitude towards Drake. Revolt caught up with the ‘Say It’ hitmaker in L.A. where he told the host that he would never diss Drake because he was a fan.
“I don’t know what that man has against me. […] I’m a Drake fan.”
