Kendrick Lamar – ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’ (Short Film)

Two TDE surprises in one week? Can’t complain. After the original version of ScHoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Collard Greens’ directed by Jason Goldwatch surfaced last week, here’s another gem that TDE fans are sure to enjoy.

More than 3 years ago, Kendrick authorized a short film based on his Platinum selling major label debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city which never saw the light of day. K. Dot played it for some of his friends and on the screen during stops on Kanye West’s Yeezus tour. Now in March, 2016, we FINALLY get to watch the entire 15 minute film which revolves around life in Compton, California while songs from the album serve as the soundtrack. There are even some never heard before vocals on some of them.

Watch the film here and also get ready for a surprise TDE release coming soon.

UPDATE: It looks like they have taken the video down already. Bad luck to those who couldn’t watch it!
