The Weeknd is the latest victim of a huge leak online.
As many as 11 songs or so from the singer have leaked on the internet from unknown origins. Most have them sound like reference or demo tracks for other artists and some are properly finished ones as well. A couple from the bunch also sound like rough ideas.
On the package are songs like ‘Be Amazing Be God’, ‘Beautiful Desires’, ‘Wanna See A Secret’, ‘Lonely Thoughts’ and more. Could it be a leaking of an email account? Or perhaps a stolen computer? Who knows but the singer, born Abęl Tesfaye, will surely be unhappy about this.
The last official release we heard from The Weeknd was his remix of Bryson Tiller’s ‘Rambo’. He’s reportedly working on new material himself and also a potential collaboration with Justin Timberlake. JT revealed the news during a recent interview on BBC1xtra (watch below).
