There’s a new series coming to Netflix this August titled The Get Down, which is backed by Nas and directed by Baz Luhrmann of Moulin Rouge fame.
Giancarlo Esposito, Jimmy Smits and Jaden Smith star in the series which is set in the 1970s in New York, tracing the origin of hip-hop, punk and disco. The Get Down debuts on Netflix on August 12 and in the latest trailer released today, there’s a teaser of a new, yet untitled song from Nas. Watch it below.
