Big K.R.I.T. Announces Departure From Def Jam Records

Big K.R.I.T. managed to create a big buzz for himself 5 years ago which eventually led to a major label deal with Def Jam Records. The Mississippi based rapper released two studio albums with the iconic label — Live from the Underground in 2012 and Cadillactica in 2014 but fans often complained about the lack of promo on both runs.

K.R.I.T. did a unique rollout today with release of 1 freestyle every hour starting from 12 pm till 12 am, totaling 12 hot freestyles.
