For this week’s Saturday Spotlight, we decided to do something different. I invited artists to submit music to me on Twitter and promised that I will pick the best out of them for this special segment. The response was overwhelming with approximately 40 submissions rolling in less than 90 minutes.
Doing a special edition of #SaturdaySpotlight today. Send me your submissions within the next 2 hours & I'll post the best ones on HHNM

After spending last 3 and a half hours listening to music from upcoming singers and rappers on this lovely Saturday, I have the best 4 to highlight here. Listen, share, enjoy and tell us what you think. We wish all of these artists the best in their careers.
For the regular Saturday Spotlight, we take submissions here.
DUBMFOUNDEAD
American rapper of Korean descent, DUBMFOUNDEAD has just released his new single ‘Harambe’ and he’s going crazy on the Getter-produced beat. With 241k plays on this already, we think he has a great chance of blowing up.
Banco
This song ‘Rollin In’ comes from upcoming rapper from Toronto named Banco and I was quite impressed by the sonics on it, especially the first part.
Kidd The Great
Kidd The Great hails from Houston and I instantly liked his R&B-Soul song ‘Food For Soul’. The surprising thing is that while he’s singing his ass off on this one, Kidd can rap a well. Reminds me a bit of Z-Ro’s style.
Oshea Davaun
Oshea is from Detroit and the song/video he’s submitted to me is ‘Set My Soul’, a collaboration with Nick James Warren. I really liked the fusion of two sounds on this — Oshea’s heartfelt raps and Nick’s soulful vocals and keys. The fact it’s recorded live added more charm to it. Check it out.
