Soundcloud Accidentally Leaks Private Tracks of Artists

 

Soundcloud has been, for many years, the preferred platform for artists to release their music. The company recently started their paid tier where users can subscribe to hear full versions of songs from artists while those on a free plan can only listen to a 30 second preview.

But yesterday, Soundcloud messed up really badly when it accidentally leaked tons of private tracks of several artists by mistake. Some of them found out about it through social media when fans started informing them.

So far, we haven’t seen any tracks from major artists surface on the internet but who knows, that might change. Let’s hope the material is safe.
