Ja Rule is the star of Footlocker’s new commercial for their “Week of Greatness” campaign. The rapper plays a cab driver who is riding a bunch of guys returning from buying some kicks at Footlocker.
“Once you find greatness, you hold on to it. You can lose it just like that. One minute you’re on top of the world and the next it’s all different,” says Ja to the passengers, taking a dig at his own career. Ja was obviously on top of the world in early 2000s but we all know what the beef with 50 Cent did to his career.
Hopefully, we can see a strong comeback from the New York rapper one day. Until then, watch the commercial below.
