The moment is finally here. Tupac Shakur has been officially inducted the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of 2017. Pearl Jam, Joan Baez, Journey, Electric Light Orchestra, and Yes are some of the other acts who will also be receiving the honor.
Tupac was nominated in his very first year of eligibility since artists are eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first album or single. The induction ceremony will be held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on April 7th, 2017 while an edited version will later air on HBO. There will be a radio broadcast on SiriusXM.
