J. Cole’s latest album 4 Your Eyez Only received a mixed reaction from fans, but still managed to move 492k copies in the first week and grab the number 1 spot on Billboard 200.
Now just four weeks later, RIAA has certified the album as Gold for shipping in access of 500k copies. The actual sales are of course much more than this already but certifications are not awarded so quick.
Cole is also pushing his music to the radio. This past week, he picked and sent the controversial song ‘Deja Vu’ as the first single from the album.
