Future Reportedly Releasing Third New Album This Week

Future has released two new albums, self titled and HNDRXX in as many weeks but wait, he could be dropping another one this week.

His self titled effort has debuted at number 1 with sales of approximately 150k and HNDRXX is also expected to hit the top spot with about 100k units moved. The rumor of a third new album surfaced after NPR published an article hinting at the new LP. They state in the article, “there are already unconfirmed reports that the Atlanta rapper and his label Epic will follow up this second release with a third album.”

This rumor has now gotten more steam as Ellen TV has published a description for their upcoming show on Thursday, March 2 where Future will be appearing. In the article, they mention that Future is dropping a third album this week, thereby attempting a shot at having three back-to-back number 1 albums. “Plus, one of the biggest rappers in music, FUTURE is on the show today! He’ll be performing a song from his upcoming CD, “HNDRXX.” He has the #1 album in the country this week with “Future,” and is attempting to have three #1 albums in a row in three weeks – which will make him the first in history to do that! He’s bringing it all to Ellen!” says the description.

See screenshot below. If this happens, it will truly be a landmark moment in music history. Yesterday, we made a custom playlist called Future HNDRXX, picking the best selections from the two albums so far.

UPDATE: Future’s manager Anthony Saleh has denied the reports.
