Suge Knight Says He Was The Real Target of Tupac Shooting; Reveals Killers

The murder of Tupac Shakur remains an unsolved mystery till date with new theories coming out almost every other year. But Suge Knight, who was with the famous rapper when he was shot dead, has now reportedly revealed some startling facts.

The former CEO of Death Row Records has claimed through his attorney’s affidavit that he was the real target of the 1996 drive-by shooting that killed Tupac and the rapper just happened to come in the way. But that’s not it — he has also revealed that his ex-wife Sharitha and former Death Row Records security chief Reggie Wright Jr. were behind it. Suge is known to say crazy stuff but this is the first time he has revealed such important information about the murder.

In a signed affidavit, Knight’s attorney Thaddeus Culpepper has co-signed the theory in a new documentary Tupac Assassination: Battle For Compton, which was directed by Richard Bond and Michael Douglas Carlin, Daily Mail reports.

“When our book came out and we were working on the movie, we gave the salient points of the book (Tupac: 187 The Red Knight) to Thaddeus Culpepper, who read them to Suge Knight,” said co-director Richard Bond. “Suge’s initial response was, ‘Who the hell are these guys?’ He admitted to Culpepper that the theories in the movie were true,” a source said. The film features Culpepper’s signed affidavit which was taken by former LAPD detective Russell Poole on July 18, 2015.

Suge was so surprised that he reportedly sent his private investigators to find out how the directors came to know about the real story of the shooting in Las Vegas on 7 September 1996. Tupac’s last public photograph was taken as he was riding in the car with Suge Knight on that day (pictured above). Suge is currently under trial for murder as he stands accused of running over a man with his truck.
