Drake’s OVO Sound Label Re-Signs With Warner Bros. Records

Warner Bros. Records has announced today that it has extended its partnership with Drake’s OVO Sound label.

The Toronto based OVO Sound founded by Drake, his co-manager Oliver El-Khatib and producer Noah “40” Shebib, had originally inked the deal with Warner Bros. back in 2012. Under the new partnership, OVO Sound executive Mr. Morgan will now be based in WBR’s offices in New York City in an attempt to further the brand. Drake is not part of this deal as a solo act as he’s signed with Young Money/Cash Money/Republic Records.

OVO Sound currently has PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan, dvsn, and Roy Woods on its roster. Majid Jordan recently released their single ‘Phases‘, the first taste off their forthcoming sophomore album.

In related news, a former porn star named Sophie Brussaux is claiming that she’s pregnant with Drake’s child. She has hired two NYC lawyers to get the work started on paternity/child support. The pic below was taken on January 24 at a Japanese restaurant in Amsterdam when Drake was in the city as part of his world tour.
