Kodak Black Released From Jail

Kodak Black is finally a free man. The rapper was released from jail this morning (June 5) after finishing a voluntary life skills course which included domestic violence, parenting, financial management and more.

The rapper was sentenced to a year in county jail for violating his house arrest last month. He had been in jail since February 28th. The Broward Beach rapper had made a plea to Judge Michael Lynch, saying he knew “depending on the outcome of this, it could be the beginning of my career, or the end of my career.”

Kodak was released Monday morning from Broward County Jail after serving 97 days of the 364 day sentence, reports TMZ. He’s now back on house arrest for another year. Like most house arrest rules, he will require permission from his probation officer and court if he wants to travel anywhere for work outside his house, even if it’s within Florida. More music from from Kodak is bound to come our way.  He released his debut album Painting Pictures in March this year via Atlanta Records which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.
