Busta Rhymes has been teasing his new album since forever now. It was originally supposed to come out few years ago through Cash Money Records but that situation did not work out as he parted ways with Birdman’s label soon after signing in 2014.
Busta is now signed to Epic Records and has released his first song under the new company, ‘Girlfriend’ which features veteran reggae artist Vybz Kartel and Toronto’s own Tory Lanez. The song is meant to celebrate Busta Rhymes’ Jamaican heritage and it’s safe to admit, they have done a pretty good job.
The song is produced by legendary New York producer Rockwilder, who is known for crafting hits for 50 Cent, Method Man & Redman, Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Fat Joe and Mary J. Blige just to name a few. The catchy song is now available in select international markets and will be out everywhere later tonight.
