Premiere: Propaganda Gives True Meaning To The Term ‘Olympian’ In New Video

L.A. rapper Propaganda has always done things his way. While most artists these days are focused on making “turn up” music, Propaganda has been creating music with substance and reality-driven rhymes.

His most recent album Crooked, which debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart, was one of his best yet and addressed a lot of socially charged issues. One of the standouts on the 14-song project was ‘Olympian’, the music video for which HHNM is premiering today.

The heartfelt video is a collaboration with Preemptive Love which is an organization that brings medical care to families in Syria and Iraq. “So I met [co-founder] Jeremy Courtney maybe 3 years ago backstage at a conference. I’ve never met a man so poised, determined brave and humble. He embodies everything I stood for. A man who threw safety out the windows and put his money where his tweets were,” Propaganda told us over email. “Preemptive Love started off in the the field of medical aide for Isis-controlled regions. They have since moved on to doing first response aide in Mosul, Fallujah and now Northern Africa. When bombs hit, they are there. I wanted to make a video that highlights real heroes. Jeremy and his team, BUT ALSO the thousands of refugees who are enduring a life unimaginable to most of us. These families, these children, are the true Olympians.”
