In 2016, Currensy released a mixtape for almost every month of the year. So in 2017, he’s been fairly quiet by his own standars. His album The Motion Picture Soundtrack was supposed to be released about 5 months ago but he’s taken his time with it. Instead in April he gave us The Fo20 Massacre which has been the only solo project we’ve gotten so far (The Jetlanta EP dropped in January).
This afternoon he takes to Instagram to announce a new EP which is in the works. It’s called The Motivational Speech EP and it looks like it’s produced exclusively by Lex Luger. The artwork (which you can see above) was revealed but there was no mention of a release date.
