PARTYNEXTDOOR has landed in legal trouble for drug possession.
The Toronto singer-songwriter, real name Jahron Brathwaite, was arrested by New York State Troopers in Niagara County for illegal possession of drugs namely Xanax and Oxycodone. He was traveling with his friend Jerome Nevins who was also found in possession of Xanax. Both were charged with Seventh-Degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge into Canada, the famous arch bridge that crosses the Niagara River gorge connecting U.S. and Canada.
The incident happened on Thursday around 9.30 am when the bus they were traveling in was stopped for secondary inspection as it was entering the United States, reports local news outlet WIVB. Both persons were issued appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Lewiston Court.
