Diddy Changes His Name Again, This Time to “LOVE” (Update: He’s not)

Changing names for Diddy is a very regular feature and on his 48th birthday (Saturday), he decided to take that step again.

The constantly name-changing music mogul, artist and top earning Hip-Hop act of 2017, who was born Sean John Combs, announced earlier today that he has decided to change his moniker yet again, this time to “LOVE” aka “Brother Love”. He made it public via a Twitter video which you can watch below.

“Hey y’all. I have some very serious serious news. I’ve been praying on this. I decided that, I know it’s risky and I know it’s corny to some people – but I decided to change my name again,” announced LOVE in the selfie video. “I will not be answering to Puffy, Diddy, Puffy Daddy or any of my other monikers but Love or Brother Love,” he cautioned everyone.

Sean John Combs was called “Puff” growing up and decided to change his stage name as “Puff Daddy” in 1997. Then a year or so later, he returned to using his given name of Sean John. Soon after, he changed it to “P.Diddy” but since August, 2005, he has been using “Diddy” as his official name.

UPDATE: Diddy says he was just joking.
