Joe Budden has officially departed from Everyday Struggle. The internet has been talking about Joe Budden possibly not being involved with Complex’s popular show anymore with all kinds of rumors flying. The best guess was that the rapper was temporarily off while he spends time with family and his newborn baby boy.

When asked by fans what was up with the show, he had even blamed the network on Twitter for masking their “internal chaos” by terming his baby duties the reason for his absence. But Complex has now confirmed with Billboard that he will no longer host the show. “Joe Budden is not continuing as a host on Everyday Struggle in 2018. The show will be back in the New Year with all new episodes and guests. We wish Joe all the best and thank him for a great 2017.”

For past few days, DJ Whoo Kid has come in as a replacement for Budden on the show but looks like a temporary arrangement as well. “We love and respect him; we believe he’s terrific but the reality is we couldn’t reach an agreement,” Complex said. The outlet plans to continue putting out new episodes with special guests in 2018 and has not reveal any plans for a proper replacement yet.

UPDATE: Joe Budden has responded to the controversy on his podcast. He alleges that Complex treated him badly and did not share checks they potentially got from deals with Spotify, Nike etc. even though he was the one who created the show. Listen below.
