Suspects In Chinx Murder Has Been Arrested

 

UPDATE: TMZ reports that another suspect, 26-year-old Jamar Hill has also been arrested in connection with the murder and facing the same charges. Both he and Homere were serving time in jail on unrelated charges when they were arrested.

After a lot of delay in the case, an arrest has finally been made in the murder case of Chinx.

Chinx was killed in a 2015 drive-by shooting when he was sitting in his car at a red light in Queens. A person named Quincy Homere, 32, of Long Island has been arrested with charges of murder, attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon in the shooting that took place on May 17, 2015, reports Pix11.

The shooting happened near Queens Boulevard and 84th Drive when Chinx pulled up at a traffic light. Another car stopped near his car and a person inside opened fire, spraying bullets into Chinx’s vehicle. He was multiple times in the torso and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. His friend sitting alongside suffered serious injuries but survived.
