Black Panther the movie has the world excited. It hits theaters Feb. 16th and features a dominantly Black cast, the first superhero film to achieve that in a genre which is very white.
The overall excitement went up when it was announced that Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg Ent. will be executive producing the official soundtrack for the film. When the tracklisting was revealed, we found it to be basically a TDE compilation album with almost all artists from the roster featured plus guests like Travis Scott, Future, Khalid, Swae Lee, Anderson .Paak, Vince Staples, The Weeknd and more.
The full soundtrack, officially titled “Black Panther: The Album” is here tonight. The singles so far have all been solid so we’re expecting similar quality on rest of the project.
