Bellator President Says 50 Cent is Dropping A New Project in 6 Weeks

Time will tell if 50 Cent will end up fighting in MMA but if Bellator President Scott Coker is to believed, the rapper is dropping a new project in about six weeks.

50 Cent attended Bellator 199 at the SAP Center in San Jose, CA and sat alongside Coker to watch the fight. There have been rumors in the past that the rapper-actor was planning on signing a deal with Bellator to fight Quinton Jackson. It then escalated to the talk that 50 might fight Rampage.

During the press conference, Coker was asked if there was a business deal with 50 yet and he replied with a surprising answer that the G-Unit boss is releasing a new album in a few weeks. “Yeah, he’s got a new album dropping in about six weeks,” Coker said around the 5:45 mark. “It’s like, look, he loves MMA. And when a big star like that loves MMA and wants to be involved, it just makes a lot of sense. And he wanted to come and check it out. This was his first time to a Bellator fight,” he continued. Watch it below.

We have to wait and see how true this is and what kind of album he’s talking about here. Back in January, 50 said that he will release his long delayed Street King Immortal album before the end of 2018. Last year, it was speculated that he was working on a Power mixtape, to aid his popular TV show on Starz.

50 released his latest single ‘Crazy‘ featuring PnB Rock last month.
