J. Cole has broken a big record. His new album KOD has moved 395k copies in the first week to debut at the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200. But there’s more to this week’s chart.
Cole has become the first artist in history to debut three songs simultaneously inside the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. ‘ATM‘ has started at the number 6 spot, ‘Kevin’s Heart’ which received the video treatment last week debuts at number 8 and the title track ‘KOD’ enters at 10. And you thought people found him boring.
Drake’s ‘Nice For What’ is maintaning the number 1 spot while ‘God’s Plan’ stays at the runners up position on this week’s Hot 100 chart.
A few days ago, J. Cole announced the first Dreamville fest at Raleigh, North Carolina on September 15th.
