Rae Sremmurd released their third album SR3MM this past Friday featuring guests such as Pharrell, The Weeknd, Future, Young Thug and Travis Scott.
The triple disc album has three sides to it — a group album and a solo album each from Swae Lee (Swaecation) and Slim Jxmmi (Jxmtroduction). But despite having 27 songs in total, the album is projected to move 55-60k copies in the first week. Only 7-8k out of that is expected to come from pure sales, according to HDD. At that sort of a playtime, this is not a big number but an upgrade from their last album which moved only 30k in the first week. It was only after the success of ‘Black Beatles’ when the album started to gain major traction on the charts.

Soul singer Leon Bridges’ new album Good Thing is on course to move 57-62k copies. Over the weekend, a clip from the duo’s interview on The Breakfast Club made waves (watch above). During the chat, Slim Jxmmi gets mad at Charlamagne after the host brings up a comparison with Migos, implying that they are not as big as the Atlanta trio yet.
