SZA Reveals Her Voice is Permanently Damaged Before Deleting Tweets

A few days ago, SZA had to be taken off from the ongoing TDE Championship tour due to swollen vocal chords. TDE’s CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith has revealed the news on his social media. “Her vocal cords are swollen and she has to rest her voice to prevent any permanent damage,” he wrote. “We been monitoring her close and this is the reason she missed the Arizona and New Mexico dates.”

SZA had shared the statement and wrote that she’s been relying on steroids for help with her voice but they didn’t work this time. She added, “I’m not sick my voice just won’t f*cking work. If I don’t pause now I’ll be forced to pause permanently.”

But tonight, the singer revealed on Twitter that she has permanently damaged her voice. “My voice is permanently injured. Great !!!!!!!! YAYYYYYUUYH!!!!!!!!” she wrote in her first tweet. She then expressed frustration at the situation, writing “I jus wanna be left alone my priorities are f*cked up . They been fucked up . I need space goodbye .”

SZA deleted the tweets a few minutes later but you can check them out below. We hope the situation isn’t that bad and she recovers soon. Earlier this month, she released a music video her song ‘Garden’ starring Donald Glover.
