Hamilton creator Manuel Miranda has taken the task of releasing a new song every month, as part of his #HamilDrops series.
For June, he has decided to unveil a new song from Mobb Deep called ‘Boom Goes The Cannon’ which you can stream below. The unreleased song features vocals from both Prodigy and Havoc, and arrives almost one year after the former’s death. “Rest in peace, Prodigy. Thank you Havoc,” Miranda tweeted.

Havoc revealed in March that a new Mobb Deep album will be released this year. “The way I’m reflecting on it is I’m just trying to keep the legacy alive. It’ll be out there pretty soon, before the end of the year,” he told Billboard.
