Following three days of testimony, a Swedish judge has said that he would issue a verdict on the assault charges leveled against ASAP Rocky on August 14th. Until then, the rapper is free to go home to the United States.
The rapper has been in jail in Stockholm for exactly a month and and now the A$AP Mob leader has 12 days until the verdict will be handed down. Prosecutors and attorneys in the case delivered their closing statements in the case today with which the trial came to close. The judge notably ruled that Rocky and the other two accused, Bladimir Corniel and David Rispers do not need to remain in custody until the 14th.
U.S. President Donald Trump celebrated the rapper’s release from prison: “A$AP Rocky released from prison and on his way home to the United States from Sweden. It was a Rocky Week, get home ASAP A$AP!”
