Megan Thee Stallion & Normani Ready ‘Diamonds’ Song for ‘Birds of Prey’ Soundtrack

Megan Thee Stallion and Normani are teaming up for a new collaboration for the upcoming Birds of Prey soundtrack.

Earlier today, Megan shared some stills of what looks like a high budget music video and wrote the caption “#BirdsOfPrey.” Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn is an upcoming DC Comics film which will serve as one of the pictures in the DC Extended Universe lineup. It’s the follow-up spin-off to the 2016 film Suicide Squad, directed by Cathy Yan and written by Christina Hodson.

Although neither Megan nor her fellow Houston artist Normani has mentioned the title of the song, it is reportedly titled ‘Diamonds’ and serves as the lead single off the soundtrack. The song’s name was revealed by songwriters Tayla Parx and Kameron Glasper who have previously worked with Normani. See a screenshot below. “We snatchin wigs all 2020 brace yourself,” Tayla wrote.

Megan Thee Stallion recently contributed to the Queen & Slim soundtrack with the song ‘Ride or Die’ featuring VickeeLo. A music video for the soundtrack’s single was released in November.
