The biggest album release in Hip-Hop this past week was the deluxe edition of Rod Wave’s album Pray 4 Love.
The St. Petersburg, Florida rapper-singer added 11 songs on the new edition with guest appearances from Lil Baby and Yo Gotti — the former assists Rod on the remix of his hit ‘Rags2Riches’ which peaked at #41 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week. As expected, the deluxe will help boost the numbers of the album, resulting in triple the activity.
HDD reports that Pray 4 Love deluxe will move approximately 60-65k copies in the first week with about 1-2k coming from pure sales. This is likely to send the album back into the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. Taylor Swift will lead the chart for the third week with her latest album Folklore which is set to move about 100k copies.
NLE Choppa’s debut album Top Shotta is looking at 40-45k copies in the first week. The set features guests such as Roddy Ricch, Mulatto, Chief Keef and Lil Baby.
