De La Soul has dropped ‘Remove 45’ which is of course an anti-Donald Trump song.
The legendary group has always thrived to push the limits of Hip-Hop and they are once again trying to have their stamp on the movement to make sure Donald Trump is not re-elected. Assisting them are Styles P, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, Mysonne and the legendary Chuck D. Listen below.
De La Soul is currently recording their upcoming new album with DJ Premier and Pete Rock. Earlier this year, they cut ties with their record label Tommy Boy following months-long negotiation over the streaming rights of their back catalog. De La Soul said clearance issues and the fact that Tommy Boy was pocketing 90% of the revenue were the reasons for the decision.
