Another week, another new Russ song for fans to enjoy.
The indie artist is continuing his streak of releasing a new song every week with ‘Freed Up’ today. While his last drop ‘Sorry‘ was all about apologizing to his girl without any rapping, this one has a different sound and subject matter.
“Yeah, always got to make sure that I can do the job / Just in case I get played ’cause my guard’s down / ‘Cause I know that as well as you know / That your very own shadow leaves you when it’s dark out,” he raps fast paced over a beat produced by Russ along with Shucati and Sucuki. Listen below.
Earlier this week, Benny The Butcher revealed that Russ has a song done with him and Black Thought.
