The Seattle-rapper would fit in with the Foxy Browns and the Lil’ Kims; she’s brash, not afraid to air her thoughts or anyone out. Rosé Da Baby’s melodies are tied to stories of pain and hardship. On his latest single, “Dangerous,” the Louisville-born rapper-singer highlights the regularities of the street life. Surrounded by scammers and robbers, groupies looking for more than a one-night stand, and paranoia that keeps him up at night. You can hear the tiredness in his voice; the constant bottling of emotions to maintain his strength. Rosé is lyrically descriptive, with vocals that immerse you into his world.
