Joyner Lucas has taken to Twitter to rant about Lollapalooza and festivals in general.
A few days ago, Lollapalooza revealed their 2022 lineup, with names like J. Cole, MGK, Metallica, Lil Baby, Doja Cat and more headlining. On the tenth row down you’ll see Joyner Lucas’ name and apparently he’s not too happy with his placement. In fact, he claims that he got lowballed and declined their offer and was put on the poster anyway.
On his rant, he says that he’s been getting low offers from festivals for years. He says it’s not right because he’s the biggest indie artist outside of Tech N9ne and even some of the bigger names aren’t on his level.
He then goes on to specifically take shots at Machine Gun Kelly, who is one of the aforementioned headliners. He posts a picture of MGK with his tongue out, saying “Then you got this goofy ass n*gga headlining? Smh how sway?”
He followed that up by saying that ‘Killshot‘ is “light compared to what’s waiting” if MGK were to diss Joyner and clowns MGK for painting his nails.
