As long as Vic Mensa has been in the game, he’s only released The Autobiography so far in terms of solo albums. That came in 2017 and since then, he’s been on a wild ride across genres and back. Tonight, the Chicago artist returns with the self-titled VICTOR.
This new album stems from the “rubble of a bad crash, literally and metaphorically” and follows the rapper’s “journey into spirituality” which required a lot of introspection. It’s largely self-produced with BongoByTheWay credited as an executive producer.
It features Jay Electronica, Chance The Rapper, Ty Dolla $ign, Common, Thundercat and more. Stream it below.
