It’s always special to get new music from Hov. The last time we heard new JAY Z bars was of course on ‘GOD DID‘, which many called one of his best features of all time. Tonight, he opens the new year and follows it up with ‘I Want You Forever’.
The song is a collaboration between Jeymes Samuel, Hov and D’Angelo from the soundtrack for The Book of Clarence, the new comedy-drama that JAY Z is producing. It stars Lakeith Stanfield, Omar Sy, Benedict Cumberbatch, James McAvoy and more.
The song itself sits at around 9 minutes and was described by Samuel to Elliott Wilson as “absolute bliss”. You can hear it below, along with the rest of the soundtrack which also features Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Kodak Black, Jorja Smith and more.
