Justin Timberlake Returns with New Single ‘Selfish’: Watch

Justin Timberlake kicks off his new era with the single ‘Selfish’ today.

The pop star dropped his new song on Thursday morning (Jan. 25), marking JT’s first solo release in more than five years. It also comes along with a music video which sees him bowing to an audience before he slips behind a curtain into a rehearsal studio.

“If they saw what I saw/ They would fall the way I fell/ They don’t know what you want/ And, baby I would never tell,” he sings on the midtempo love jam. “‘Cause Your lips were made for mine/ And my heart would go flatline/ If it wasn’t beating for you all the time.”

Watch the Bradley J. Calder-directed clip below. The song is taken from his forthcoming new album titled Everything I Thought It Was, which is due out on March 15th. It will serve as the follow-up to his 2018 solo LP Man of the Woods.
