SZA Threatens Legal Action Against Leakers of Her Music

It looks like SZA is quite upset at people constantly trying to leak her music. On Saturday, the singer took to Twitter to address the folks who’ve been trying to do the same.

She threatened legal action against the folks, calling the act “stealing.”

“LEAKING MY MUSIC IS STEALING . THIS IS MY JOB . THIS IS MY LIFE AND MY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. YOU ARE A FUCKING THIEF AND I PROMISE TO PUT MAXIMUM ENERGY INTO HOLDING EVERYONE ACCOUNTABLE TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW . I AM TIRED,” SZA wrote Saturday (Jan. 6) on X, formerly Twitter.

SZA is due to release LANA, which she has described as the deluxe version of her smash hit album SOS. Three weeks ago, she revealed 6 different artworks for her project but did not give us a release date. Check out her tweet below.

She also addressed song leaks in a November interview with Variety, saying: “When people leak my songs, they ruin them. Then it’s not mine anymore; it’s actually yours. It’s something unfinished that you decided was ready to be shared.”
