Beyonce ‘Cowboy Carter’ First Week Sales

 

UPDATE 2: The final numbers are in. Beyoncé ended up selling 418,125 copies of the album first week, outdoing even her updated projections.

UPDATE: The album is now projected to move over 400k copies in the first week with about 170k coming from pure sales.

Beyonce’s brand new album Cowboy Carter has received a lot of acclaim from both fans and critics since its release.

The 27 song album features the likes of Miley Cyrus and Post Malone among others while Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Linda Martell act as DJs in the radio-themed set. On Spotify, the album did 76 million streams on the first day which is a new peak for the platform.

Today, we have the first week sales projections. HDD reports that Cowboy Carter is expected to move 350k copies in the first week which will be more than enough for a number 1 debut on the charts. In comparison, Bey’s album LP RENAISSANCE debuted with 332k in August 2022.
