Nas Releases ‘Illmatic: Live from the Kennedy Center’ Album

 

It’s been 24 years since Nas released his classic debut album Illmatic which is till date, regarded as one of the greatest Rap albums in history.

Nas performed a special rendition of Illmatic with the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in 2014. This February, PBS aired the special concert as part of its Great Performances series. Today, Mass Appeal Records have released the recording on vinyl, exclusively for Record Store Day (4/21) as well in other digital formats.
