Lil Peep and XXXTentacion both of whom died in the past 12 months, have appeared on a new song together titles ‘Falling Down’. ILoveMakonnen, who co-wrote ‘Falling Down’ and X’s mother both teased the song on Instagram on Tuesday.
“I posted a few weeks ago about how much it meant to me to know that this song I co-wrote with @lilpeep inspired @xxxtentacion to want to jump on and add some verses,” Makonnen wrote about the posthumous song. An album of unreleased material from Lil Peep is due in stores later this year via Columbia Records.
Lil Peep died last fall at the age of 21, following an accidental drug overdose. XXXTentacion was murdered this June at the age of 20. Four men have been arrested in connection with his killing so far. Listen to the melodic ‘Falling Down’ below.
