This week’s Soundscan numbers have shocked me, to say the least. Though Kanye and Nicki Minaj’s album sales dropped heavily in the 2nd week, they still managed to move 108k and 103k copies, respectively.
But here come the surprising facts. Sim Thug’s Tha Thug Show landed at no.78 on the Billboard 200 this week with 14k while Soulja Boy’s new album The DeAndre Way struggled at no.79 with only 13k sold! The latter is an artist with 2.5 million followers on Twitter.
Loyd Banks’ HFM2 fell to the 90th position with 12k sold while Flo Rida’s new album The Only Flo Part 1 missed the Billboard 200 altogether! What. The.
